This listing is for "build your own" 4" diameter reel pouch--choose the leather color, the lining color, and the laser etched design. I'll choose hardware color that best suits your selections. Please note: this listing is for WITHOUT edge coating (though some example pics may show that--that is available in another listing, since only so many variations I can create in one listing). This leather pouch is designed to fit reels up to 4" diameter by 2.5" wide and cushioned with genuine sheep or lamb shearling lining and either a nylon or brass zipper, which may have leather added to the pull. The hardware finish will be selected to best coordinate with your leather choices. There is a 1 3/8" wide loop on the back which you can use worn on a belt up to 2.5" wide and reasonably thick. Or you can use the swivel snap for affixing the pouch to your belt loop or other gear, which is on its own 5/8" wide loop. The two grommets (also coordinating hardware finish) through the leather and shearling to allow for airflow through the pouch. The first choice, or variation, is what color of the sheepskin or lambskin shearling you want--some colors are harder to obtain than others, so please do message me if you really want a color that is either sold out, or not on the list. From top left to right, and then down in the image are: ORANGE GREEN NATURAL DARK BROWN GRAY (please note there may be variations between colors due to inherent differences between hides and dye lots and monitor colors). The second variation is for the color and/or texture of the leathers (all cowhides) that you can choose from, and laser etched artwork. The leathers all have a water resistant finish, and do not discolor/change with water exposure. And the genuine leather will only gain character as it's used and exposed to elements. Leather options are, left to right back row): BROWN (very smooth, and polished top color, body is light brown, gets more wrinkles with handling--shown with the rod & reel artwork, and natural and green lining) DARK BROWN (very smooth, and polished top color, body is light brown, gets more wrinkles with handling) BLUE-TEAL (very smooth, and polished top color, body is light brown, gets more wrinkles with handling--shown with fish artwork) Left to right bottom row: PEBBLE BROWN (pebbled texture and oiled finish, and will darken as handled) GRAY (Smooth fine top grain, body is grey--shown with fisherman & leaping fish) The main factor affecting price in the variations is ARTWORK. In variations, this in incorporated with the leather color for choices--so each color has 3 variations--none, shop, or custom. "NO ARTWORK" is the least expensive option, or base model--is simply the leather, and only my logo is laser etched on the back side below the loop. "SHOP ARTWORK" are designs on the front that I have already optimized for the pouches. Currently 3 options are: (1) Fisherman & leaping fish (on grey leather in images); (2) Fish only (on blue-teal leather in images); and (3) Rod & Fly (on brown leather in images). These are an additional $10 over the base. I intend to increase the choices of "base" artwork soon! >>Please include the choice by # or name in the "note to seller" in the order. And "CUSTOM" is artwork that either you provide via a pdf, png or svg file, or if text (an name), I can create the artwork based on your font preference. But this includes a $25 additional cost to the base price due to the file prep and job set-up--which includes adding a name in combination with "shop" artwork. I will always provide a "proof" for you to approve before I etch the leather and another image of the leather to verify the artwork is OK on the leather before completing & shipping the pouch. The shop artwork is shown on various leather color examples. For all, the etched areas will have clear leather coating applied to seal the exposed body leather, but also to help improve the contrast between etched and unetched surface of the leather.. All pouches will have my "o:WILBUR" logo laser etched on the back. Construction note: the shearling is trimmed to keep it away from the zipper teeth to prevent snags, and two rows of stitching keep the zipper & shearling secure along the gusset. The outer leather overlaps slightly, and the shearling ends butts up tight, so the only edge of the shearling you'll see is along the zipper. The zipper opens over half of the diameter, so when fully opened it's reasonably easy to install or remove the reel, but the reel should not be able to fall out on its own if the zipper is not closed completely.
